I am an Associate Professor of Environmental Sciences and Resource Management at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. I am also a member of the Climate Change Thematic Research Group of the National Climate Change Committee charged with implementing Rio Conventions on Climate Change in Jordan.
I received my MSc of Environmental Engineering from the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, Germany (in 09/2002) and my Ph.D of Environmental Science and Health from the University of Nevada, Reno, USA (in 12/2008).
I undertake research related to environmental management. My main research interests include water and air quality monitoring and assessment, abiotic nitrate in arid soils (origin, formation mechanism and inventory), coastal zone management and environmental geochemistry.
