Eyad. A. Feilat received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987 from the University of Jordan, the M.Sc. degree in 1989 from the Jordan University of Science &Technology, and the Ph. D. degree in 2000 from Mississippi State University. From 1990-1996, he worked as a Lecturer at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, KSA. From 2001-2008, he worked at Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. From Aug. 2008-Jan.2013, he was on Sabbatical leave at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. In Feb. 2013 he joined back Yarmouk University His area of research includes applications of artificial intelligence and signal processing to power systems, high voltage engineering, power system stability & control, and power quality. Dr. Feilat is author and coauthor of more than 70 refereed Journal and Conference Papers. He is a senior member of IEEE, member of Eta Kappa Nu Association, and member of the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA).
