"Many students ask me what should we research and what is the most new and advance area for rsearch.
I would say that the most advance is in social innovation and social enterprenuership, that is in specific. now in genral the question should not be as of what is the recent, modern, advanced area to research and write our reseach about. the question must be: what is the area that i must research where my findings would have the most impact in solving the social problems in our society. this is really a very good question that must motivate us to begin our research. that does not mean MBA students or business students will change from business students to sociology students. no, not at all. it means that indeed Business, marketing, economic, finance, accounting or any type of students must stick to their area but with link and assocaition with the society and its problems in a sustainable perspective.
So business students go social business, marketing must write about social marketing and so on and so forth. Our society needs real and practical solution more than anything else" we are sick of theories alone, we need practical solution more than we need theory and theriorizing. for more check the page Readings on the top.

Managing Chaos or letting chaos managing us
Our problem is that most of our people feel that their worst enemy is: "Chaos, Paradoxes, Ambiguity, and conflict (even when conflict is constructive). While Jack Welch of GE says: " If you are not confused, you dont know what's going on". My freinds, all of the above terms (e.g., Chaos, paradoxes, uncertainity, ambiguity, irrationality ....etc.) challenge the mind and provoke brain working and brain-storming. Let us not take them as our enemy but rather consider them as our allies.

Without a clear awareness of our differences, we don't take the time to understand and respect each other. We become demanding, resentful, judgmental and intolerant. With the best and most loving intentions love continues to die. Somehow the problems creep in, the resentments build, communication breaks down, mistrust increases, rejection and repression result.

الفيل والحبل
كنت أفكر ذات يوم في الفيل، وفجأة استوقفتني فكرة حيرتني وهي حقيقة أن هذه المخلوقات الضخمة قد تم تقييدها في حديقة الحيوان بواسطة حبل صغير يلف حول قدم الفيل الأمامية، فليس هناك سلاسل ضخمة ولا أقفاص كان من الملاحظ جداً أن الفيل يستطيع وببساطة أن يتحرر من قيده في أي وقت يشاء لكنه لسبب ما لا يقدم على ذلك !
شاهدت مدرب الفيل بالقرب منه وسألته: لم تقف هذه الحيوانات الضخمة مكانها ولا تقوم بأي محاولة للهرب؟
حسناً، أجاب المدرب: حينما كانت هذه الحيوانات الضخمة حديثة الولادة وكانت أصغر بكثير مما هي عليه الآن، كنا نستخدم لها نفس حجم القيد الحالي لنربطها به.
وكانت هذه القيود -في ذلك العمر– كافية لتقييدها.. وتكبر هذه الحيوانات معتقدة أنها لا تزال غير قادرة على فك القيود والتحرر منها بل تظل على اعتقاد أن الحبل لا يزال يقيدها ولذلك هي لا تحاول أبداً أن تتحرر منه ، كنت مندهشاً جداً. هذه الحيوانات –التي تملك القوة لرفع أوزان هائلة- تستطيع وببساطة أن تتحرر من قيودها، لكنها اعتقدت أنها لم تستطع فعلقت مكانها، الكثير منا أيضاً يمضون في الحياة معلقين بقناعة مفادها أننا لا نستطيع أن ننجز أو نغير شيئاً وذلك ببساطة لأننا نعتقد أننا عاجزون عن ذلك، أو أننا حاولنا ذات يوم ولم نفلح .
حاول أن تصنع شيئاً.. وتغير من حياتك بشكل إيجابي وبطريقة إيجابية !
