This is the first course in the two-semester sequence of calculus-based introductory physics courses. The course is designed to meet the needs of student majoring in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, and Geology. It is an introductory course in Newtonian mechanics which include the following topics: Vectors, Motion in One Dimension, Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Newton's Laws, Work and Energy, Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, Momentum, Kinematics of Rotational Motion, Dynamics of Rotational Motion.
