I am Associate Professor at the Department of Anthropology, Yarmouk University. Areas of interests are: Social Change and displacement, Development and International Corporations, Field Techniques, Ethnography of the Middle East, Economic Anthropology and Ethno-archaeology.  I worked as consultant with the WB, IFAD, FAO, UNDP, USAID, and  as visiting researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies/Jordan University, in addition to many national and international agencies.
I worked as the National Program Manager at the International Labour Organization- International Program on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC). (2004-2005).
Recently I worked as General Director of the Hashemite Fund for the development of Jordan Badia (      Sept. 2011 – Sept. 2013).
