​Dr. Abdelraheem Ahmad is an associate professor at the Department of Conservation and Management of Cultural Resources-Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology, Yarmouk University in Irbid - Jordan. He has a BSc degree in physics and a MA degree in conservation and management of cultural resources from Yarmouk University in Jordan and a PhD degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Dortmund Technical University in Germany. 
While working on his PhD, Dr. Ahmad was a staff member at Rathgen Research Laboratory in Berlin; the world's oldest scientific museum laboratory and the leading institution for conservation science, art technology and archaeometry at the National Museums in Berlin, Germany. At Rathgen Research Laboratory, Dr. Ahmad had a great chance to work with distinguished co​nservation scientists and to participate in many research projects in the field of investigation and conservation of archaeological materials, particularly stone objects and monuments.
