Associate Professor, (Ph.D., Keele University, M.S., University Of Jordan; B.A., Yarmouk University, and, Diploma, Paramedical Institute – Ministry of Health) 

Experienced as a Health Economist, Health Planner and, Health Manager in the Ministry of Health and Health Care in Jordan.

Specialized experiences includes: Economist and Planner in hospital and health care facilities, Educator at major Jordanian Universities and colleges; Patient care management/services First line administrator; Operational and long-range strategic planning; Continuous quality improvement; Staff training and development; Cost reduction management; Managed care; union contract negotiations; and, community relations.

Expert as a team leader of Self Evaluation Document (SED) affiliated with (QAA, and NCAAA) and Self-Evaluation Report (SER) affiliated with (ACCSB) in promoting excellence in Higher Education Programs: such as in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting, and the Department of Banking and Finance.

Dr. Ali Rawabdeh has been a member of the Department of Public Administration since September 2017. He is a nationally prominent health services researcher, best known for his studies of access to various forms of Health economics, health planning, and management. In addition to his major role of teaching and training medical and non-medical students in a variety of disciplines (both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels), Dr. Rawabdeh coordinates the overall quality assurance and accreditation programs employed within the institutional and academic Programs in the College of Medicine at King Faisal University. He is experienced as a team leader of Self Evaluation Document (SED) (both at national and international levels) affiliated with (QAA, and NCAAA) and Self-Evaluation Report (SER) affiliated with (ACCSB) in promoting excellence in Higher Education Programs: such as in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting, and the Department of Banking and Finance.

In recent years, much of his work has focused on e-health and the health quality assurance. Between 2001 and 2007, he served as Principal Investigator for six major surveys examining health insurance circumstances, Health care cost containment Strategies, and Healthcare system privatization in Jordan, wastes in the Jordanian health care system, e-health trend plan for the Jordanian health care subsystem, and policy and health in Jordan. Dr. Rawabdeh has published widely, including articles in such prominent journals as The International Journal of Health Planning and Management, and The International Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance, Arab Journal of Administration, and The International Journal of Public and Private Partnership.
