Computational Applications in Bioinformatics: The goal of this course is to teach students to write computer programs that conduct bioinformatic analyses. Organized as a series of case studies in which students write programs to solve real research problems. Previous knowledge of a programming language is assumed.

Applications on bioinformatics and medical informatics, the course contains an internal lab where several tasks on previous topics are performed on the UNIX operating system.
