Associate Professor, Biomedical Systems & Medical Informatics Engineering Department

Greetings,

​Bahaa W. Al-Sheikh earned his PhD in Engineering with specialization in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Denver, Colorado and the MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, Colorado, USA. He received the BSc degree in Electronics Engineering from Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. Al-Sheikh’s research lies at the intersection of the biomedical instrumentation, signal processing and biomedical modeling. He has taught many courses in biomedical engineering and electrical engineering. Currently, Dr. Al-Sheikh is a full time associate professor at the Biomedical Systems and Medical Informatics Engineering Department at Yarmouk University. He is also on sabbatical leave working as an Associate Professor at the American University of the Middle East in Kuwait.
