Malek J. Zuraikat is an
assistant professor in the Department of English at Yarmouk University. He teaches different courses of English literature and criticism, and his main research
interest is English poetry from the beginnings to present. In his PhD
dissetation, he has studied the poetry of Geoeffrey Chaucer, John Gower, and William
Langland and argued that those three English poets indirectly vent the
anti-crusade voice of fourteenth-century England. However, besides his academic
interest in English poetry, he writes English and Arabic poetry. One of his English poems has
won the third place of Wax Poetry and Art Magazine no#11 in 2015 and
another the first place of Weekly Poems Contest no#20 in 2017, as
displaced on the website of Wax Poetry and Art Magazine.
