Mahmoud Z.
Mistarihi is
an associate professor in the Industrial Engineering department, Hijjawi Faculty of
Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University, Jordan. He earned B.S. in Applied
Mathematics and Statistics from Mutah University, Jordan, Masters in Pure
Mathematics from Mutah University, Jordan, Strategic Studies Diploma from Royal
Military academy Sandhurst, Camberley, UK, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and
Management from Oklahoma State University, USA. Dr. Mistarihi has taught
courses in Engineering Economics, Ergonomics, Logistics and Supply Chain
Engineering, Systems Simulation and Modeling, Modeling and Analysis of
Manufacturing Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Manufacturing
Information Systems. His research interests include Complex systems analysis
(Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization), Decision Making Analysis, Applied
Ergonomics and Safety, Engineering Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, and logistics. Dr. Mistarihi has served as Assistant Dean for Quality Affairs,
Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, Yarmouk University, Jordan. Also,
he has served as assistant director of Jordanian military factories. Moreover, He
served as Development Director at AMF development Company, Norman, Oklahoma, USA.
Dr. Mistarihi serves as a reviewer for Arabian Journal for Science and
Engineering, Applied Mathematical Modeling, World Journal of Engineering
Research and Technology, Int. J. of Human Factors and Ergonomics, Int. J. of
Fuzzy Computation and Modelling, and Jordan Journal of Mechanical and
Industrial Engineering. He is a member of the Jordan Engineers Association
(JEA), Institute
of Industrial Engineering (IIE), and Institute for Operation Research and Management
Sciences (INFORMS).
