Dr. Mohammad H. Al-Momany

Mohammad Al-Momani is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Yarmouk University where he served before as the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Arts. He is the Dean of Jordan Media Institute. He is the former advisor of the Jordanian Prime Minister and. He was the executive director of the Regional Human Security Center, and was the deputy director of Queen Rania Center Jordanian Studies and Community Services at Yarmouk University. He served previously an Advisor at the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy and the Director of Training and Education. He is a part time lecturer at the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy and the Council for International Educational Exchange (CIEE). He was the Senior Policy Advisor and Deputy Director of the State University of New York/Center for International Development/Legislative Strengthening Program, and was the Policy Consultant in the Ministry of Political Development. He was an Editorial Board Member for the Jordan Journal of International Affairs/Jordan Institute of Diplomacy. Dr. Momani is a columnist at Alghad newspaper and a host of the Jordan radio talk show: Current Events. He is a former host of the Jordan TV show: Political Affairs. He taught American Government at the University of North Texas (1999-2002), and then joined Rice University faculty where he taught Political Economy, Comparative Politics, Democracy and Democratization and Middle East Politics. He was a Comparative Politics exam consultant for ETS. He was a member of the Institution Council in Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, a former board member in the Jordanian Political Science Association, and is currently a member of the Executive Board of Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service. He is a invited speaker to panels and workshops on political and strategic issues locally and internationally, and a publisher of several books, academic articles, and occasional papers. He is a member of several international professional Associations, and received several academic grants and awards including Best Academic Achievement at UNT.

د. محمد حسين المومني

أستاذ مشارك في قسم العلوم السياسية في جامعة اليرموك وعميد معهد الاعلام الاردني ومستشار سابق لرئيس الوزراء الاردني. الدكتور المومني مساعدا سابقا للعميد في كلية الآداب، ونائب سابق لعميد مركز الملكة رانيا للدراسات الأردنية في جامعة اليرموك، وقد عمل مديرا تنفيذيا للمركز الإقليمي للأمن الإنساني، ومستشار سياسات في وزارة التنمية السياسية.

عمل الدكتور المومني كبيرا لمستشاريي السياسات ونائبا لمدير برنامج تعزيز السلطة التشريعية التابع لمركز التنمية الدولية في جامعة ولاية نيويورك. الدكتور المومني محاضر غير متفرغ في مجلس التبادل التعليمي الدولي والمعهد الدبلوماسي الأردني، كما عمل مستشارا لرئيس المعهد الدبلوماسي ومديرا للتدريب والتعليم في المعهد.

درّسَ الدكتور المومني مادة النظام السياسي الامريكي في جامعة شمال تكساس ومساقات في الإقتصاد السياسي والسياسة المقارنة والعلاقات الدولية في الشرق الأوسط والديمقراطية والتحول للديمقراطية في جامعة رايس بمدينة هيوستن الامريكية. الدكتور المومني هو مستشار سابق لمساق المقارنة السياسية في نظام الامتحان التعليمي الدولي في الولايات المتحدة، وهو ناشر للعديد من الكتب والدراسات والأبحاث في المجلات العلمية المحلية والدولية ومراكز الابحاث الدولية، وتلقى العديد من المنح والجوائز منها جائزة أفضل إنجاز أكاديمي في جامعة شمال تكساس، وعضو هيئة التحرير في مجلة الشؤون الدولية في المعهد الدبلوماسي الاردني.

الدكتور المومني محاضر مدعو للعديد من المؤتمرات والندوات المحلية والاقليمية والدولية في الشؤون السياسية والاستراتيجية وهو عضو جمعية الشوؤن الدولية، والجمعية الاردنية للعلوم السياسية الأردنية وعضو مجلس ادارتها السابق، وعضو سابق لمجلس المعهد الدبلوماسي، والجمعية الامريكية للعلوم السياسية والجمعية الدولية للعلاقات الدولية، وعضو مجلس إدارة مركز الملكة رانيا للدراسات الاردنية وخدمة المجتمع، وهو كاتب في صحيفة الغد الاردنية ومعد ومقدم برنامج "قضايا الساعة" في الاذاعة الاردنية وسابقا لبرنامج شؤون سياسية في التلفزيون الاردني.
